Dharavi, a community thriving on small businesses, local vendors, artisans and handmade goods serves as the perfect backdrop for an exclusive community centre targeted towards the enhancement of social interaction and community well-being.
A community centre designed keeping in mind the multicultural hub of sorts, thus catering to people of all ages and social groups.
A Space for All
Assimilation of a wide range of activities through varied spaces to engage and interact with one another along with the mission of supporting the local vendors.
Upon entering the space, a sense of intrigue is established at the very starting owing to the gallery walls. A celebratory emotion and welcomeness can be felt upon reaching the
central stage. Strolling through the corridors of the first floor can make the user visually experience the artisans at work, thus appreciating their skill more. An overall downward glance from the second floor helps the user get a
comprehensive understanding of the building along with having the opportunity to experience.
